I live in Austin, Texas with my wife. We got married in July 2026 and are building a life together. I played basketball and studied at Northwestern University and Indiana University, graduating from IU in 2023. I played pro ball for three years in the NBA G League, as well as two short stints overseas in France. I had a small stint playing for USA basketball which was the most special experience I had as a pro. I retired in October 2026 and am now building a life and career outside of the basketball court. I grew up in Houston, Texas and have three brothers.
Things im interested in:
Entrepreneurship. The only class I ever enjoyed in college was one on entrepreneurship, I’m obsessed with it, my Past Missions are some examples. In the class we did a deep dive on Adam Neumann and WeWork as well as Elon Musk and Tesla. The professor said “when you buy Tesla, you’re really buying Elon Musk”. I never forgot that. Lesson in there.
Sports. Sports is the best playground to learn life.
Basketball. As Bobby Knight once said, “I’ve forgotten more basketball than you’ll ever know”.
Faith. I am seeking God every single day, Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior.
Leadership. The best coaches I have ever been around are the best leaders. The best leaders are really just the best curators of an environment where their team can do their job the best. Sam Presti is one of the best environment curators i’ve witnessed in person. He thinks about his duty deeper than most.
Health. We live in the most technologically advanced society in the history of the world and yet we seem to be more sick and unhealthy than ever before. Circadian biology, cumulative toxic load, fertility, primal living. Where’s the balance between modern advances vs primal human living? You don’t have to be Bryan Johnson or Brian Johnson
Money. Does money buy happiness? I think no. But it does have some value.
